Please complete this form to register for the Surf Rescue Certificate (SRC) programs at Fairhaven SLSC in 2021-2022.

At this stage, it is looking like we will be able to run a primarily normal SRC course for vaccinated Fairhaven members, in line with government and LSV requirements.  Please be aware that this may change and we will update you as regularly as required if needed.


The courses will run between 28th Dec and Friday 7th Jan (excluding the New Year's public holidays) with morning and afternoon sessions at Fairhaven SLSC.


Please ensure you meet the prerequisites for SRC:
- Candidates must be at least 13 years old by the date of their assessment
- Candidates must become a financial member of Fairhaven SLSC before course commencement, and pay a course fee
- Complete a timed swim of 200m in 5 mins
- Received two doses of COVID-19 vaccine by the course commencement date - required by Life Saving Victoria for participation in any lifesaving activities.

Please note, existing Fairhaven members will be prioritised, and any remaining course availability will be filled first-in, first-served. Once your spot has been finalised we will confirm via email with candidate information forms and information attached.

There are still many details to be worked out, so please be patient while we communicate with Life Saving Victoria to arrange the courses!
