Youth Homelessness Ad/Leg Committee

The Advocacy and Legislative Committee of the Youth Homelessness Workgroup is committed to identifying opportunities to improve laws, regulations, and policies with the goal of preventing and ending youth and young adult homelessness in Delaware. The Committee meets monthly for one hour via Zoom to discuss legislative advocacy ideas, identify necessary partners and stakeholders, and develop strategies for turning ideas into action. The Committee is open to all. A small stipend ($25-$50) from the National Homelessness Law Center is available for up to five young people (ages 13-25) with lived experience of homelessness who participate in committee meetings. Please contact kmeyerscott@homelesslaw.org to join the Committee or for more information.
