Committee Information:

The Chaperone Chairpersons shall be responsible for:
A. Obtaining Association members to serve as chaperones at all band functions.
B. Obtaining medical forms from each band student prior to the first day of band camp.
C. Maintenance and availability of all first aid kits at all band functions.
D. Keeping an official record of all hours worked for each family and reporting same to the Hourly Registrar within ten (10) days of the event.
E. Performing such other duties as directed by the president and/or band director.

The Concessions Chairpersons shall be responsible for:
A. Operating the stadium concession stand at all band functions.
B. Maintaining an accurate inventory of equipment and perishable items.
C. Keeping an official record of all hours worked for each family and reporting same to the Hourly Registrar within ten (10) days of the event.
D. Performing such other duties as directed by the president and/or band director.
E. Keeping a cash reconciliation sheet that shall be signed by two non-related board members and provided to the receiving treasurer.

The Equipment and Transportation Chairperson shall be responsible for:
A. Works with the band director to ensure proper transportation of equipment to all band functions.
B. Supervising pre-game and half-time show set-up.
C. Securing bus transportation as needed for band students.
D. Keeping an official record of all hours worked for each family and reporting same to the Hourly Registrar within ten (10) days of the event.
E. Performing such other duties as directed by the president and/or band director.

The Fund Raising and Grant Writing Chairperson shall be responsible for:
A. Selecting a chairman for each fund-raising event.
B. Exploring possible avenues of potential income for the Association.
C. Seeing that all fund-raising activities are supervised.
D. Responsible for selecting and applying for appropriate grants.
E. Keeping an official record of all hours worked for each family and reporting same to the Hourly Registrar within ten (10) days of the event.
F. Performing such other duties as directed by the president and/or band director.

The Fun Fest Concessions Chairperson shall be responsible for:
A. Adhering to all rules of the Fun Fest Concessions.
B. Scheduling workers for all Fun Fest Concession events.
C. Training of workers and site supervisors.
D. Keeping an official record of all hours worked for each family and reporting same to the Hourly Registrar within ten (10) days of the event.
E. Performing such other duties as directed by the president and/or band director.

The Hourly Registrar Chairperson shall be responsible for:
A. Keeping an official record of all hours worked per each band family.
B. Making statements available of hours worked per family to Association members as directed by the Executive Board.
C. Performing such other duties as directed by the president and/or band director.

The Hospitality Chairpersons shall be responsible for:
A. Selecting and supervising a committee for band camp.
B. Making arrangements for the band banquet.
C. Help arrange food and refreshments for band events held at West Ridge High School.
D. Keeping an official record of all hours worked per each band family and reporting same to the Hourly Registrar within ten (10) days of the event.
E. Performing such other duties as directed by the president and/or band director.

The Public Relations Chairperson shall be responsible for:
A. Notifying media of band events/awards (Times-News, Sullivan County News, PTSA Newsletter, Spotlight, etc.).
B. Coordinating student recognition events.
C. Coordinating photography of band students at all events and providing access for parents/guardians.
D. Keeping an official record of all hours worked per each band family and reporting same to the Hourly Registrar within ten (10) days of the event.
E. Performing such other duties as directed by the president and/or band director.

The Communications Chairperson shall be responsible for:
A. Contacting members of the Association as directed by the president and/or band director.
B. Keep an updated record of contact information including emails, phone numbers, addresses, etc.
C. Keeping an official record of all hours worked per each band family and reporting same to the Hourly Registrar within ten (10) days of the event.
D. Performing such other duties as directed by the president and/or band director.

The Uniform Chairperson shall be responsible for:
A. Fitting and maintaining uniforms.
B. Determining uniform needs and submitting requests to the Executive Board for approval.
C. Issuing and receiving uniforms.
D. Proper cleaning, storing, and inventorying of uniforms.
E. Assessing special needs of incoming freshmen and/or new students.
F. Keeping an official record of all hours worked per each band family and reporting same to the Hourly Registrar within ten (10) days of the event.
G. Performing such other duties as directed by the president and/or band director.

The Middle School Liaison Chairperson shall:
A. Be in charge of Middle School Night during football season.
B. Get information to middle schools for fundraising and other band events.
C. Do invites for the spring freshmen night.
D. Invites for Spring Concert and Banquet.
E. Get dates of middle school concerts and keep the band director informed.
F. Must keep board and band director informed of all happenings between the middle school directors and the Association.
G. Keep an official record of all hours worked for each family and report same to the Hourly Registrar within ten (10) days of the event.
H. Perform such other duties as directed by the president and/or band director.

The Alumni Association Chairperson shall:
A. Be in charge of putting together and maintaining a data base of all band alumni.
B. Invite all band alumni to special band events.
C. Coordinate with the Alumni Liaison.
D. Keeping an official record of all hours worked for each family and reporting same to the Hourly Registrar within ten (10) days of the event.
E. Perform such other duties as directed by the president and/or band director.

The Finance Committee shall:
A. The chairperson will put together the committee.
B. If needed, a finance committee member will step into the position of treasurer.
C. Perform such other duties as directed by the president and/or band director.
