The Society of Georgia Archivists Program Committee announces a second call for posters and lightning talks for the hybrid 2022 Society of Georgia Archivists Annual Meeting, October 26-28, 2022 in Jekyll Island, GA. 

The committee welcomes proposals for poster or lightning talks to be presented live at the conference in Jekyll Island, GA from anyone involved with archives, including archival staff and volunteers, students, new professionals, community organizers, researchers, and allied professionals. We encourage potential presenters to consider how their proposed session will support the SGA Statement on Diversity and Inclusion.

Proposals may relate to this year’s theme, Sustaining Archives: Practical Solutions for the Future or applied or theoretical research, research about the archives profession itself, or practical/internship experiences. Both posters and lightning talks will be presented on Thursday, October 27th. Poster sessions will be during the morning and afternoon breaks while lightning talks will be from 4-5 pm. 

The deadline for proposal submissions is September 23, 2022.
