The afternoon session will focus on exploring successful approaches for the prevention of and solutions to disaster displacement. Partners will present best practices and insights from their work in different countries and regions. Potential topics of focus will include:
- Assessing the risk of future disaster displacement
- Modelling displacement linked with drought
- Projecting the impacts of climate change on future displacement
- Identifying examples of successful initiatives for others to learn from: the Global Repository of Good Practices
- Preventing displacement in a context of climate change
