Abstract Submission for DPC@ABRCMS 2019
You are invited to submit an abstract to present a talk (8-10 minutes) as part of the "DPC@ABRCMS" block scheduled for Friday, November 15, 2019.

Please submit your proposal here by Sunday, October 13, 2019 (extended from Oct. 4).

Expect to receive confirmation by October 18, 2019.

Session Title: Infectious disease outbreaks and the vaccination dilemma
The session opens with Dr. Mario Barro's talk on Infectious Diseases and vaccinations.  Student presentations will broaden the discussion.  The night culminates with student collaborations to create community-focused solutions to increase understanding of the topic.

Give an 8-10 minute presentation followed by a 3 minute Q & A.
Students can present about:
- Your research related to vaccines and/or infectious diseases (any discipline)
- Current literature related to vaccines and/or infectious diseases (any discipline)

Example topics:
- the science behind vaccinations
- new developments in vaccinations
- vaccinations and public health
- psychological or sociological science and vaccination
- media messaging on vaccinations
- vaccinations and health disparities
