2024-2025 Gator Band Application
Welcome to the 2024-2025 Gator Band Application!

Upon completion of this form, you will receive audition information/music shortly after.  Information will be sent via the UFL and personal email you have recorded.

Deadlines/audition dates to note:
Wind Auditions: 
Submit videos to Professor Watkins by July 1, 2024.

FDL Auditions:
Open Auditions:
Saturday, April 27, 2024 from 10am - 2pm
Saturday, May 11, 2024 from 10am - 2pm
Final auditions by invitation only:
Saturday, May 25, 2024 from 10am - 4pm

FVE Auditions:
Saturday, April 20, 2024 from 2pm - 6pm
We also accept video auditions up through June 30, 2024. Instructions for video auditions will be linked in email after filling out the application.

Gatorette Auditions:
Sunday, May 5, 2024 from 12pm - 5pm
We also accept video auditions up through May 4, 2024 by 12pm. Instructions for video auditions will be linked in email after filling out the application.


State College students are welcome to become members of the UF Gator Marching Band through the Transient Student process. Students who are selected to participate in Gator Band will be required to complete a Transient Application through Florida Shines.   

Santa Fe Students must complete the above mentioned Transient Application through Florida Shines and also satisfy the following Santa Fe College transient student eligibility criteria:
- Completed at least one semester at Santa Fe College (SUMMER B can fulfill this requirement)
- In good academic standing (must not be on academic warning, probation, or suspension)
- A.A. degree-seeking student at Santa Fe College
- Will transfer transient courses back to Santa Fe College to be applied toward SF degree requirements (requested course must count towards your SF degree)
- Have satisfied (or are currently in process for) all SF pre-requisites for the intended transient course(s)
- No active registration holds

A.A. Music students who are receiving a Santa Fe College music scholarship, or who currently have below a 2.6 GPA will not be eligible to participate in Gator Band.

The deadline for state college paperwork is 2 weeks prior to the start of UF classes, August 8th.
