Measurement uncertainty characterizes the dispersion range of the values/ results that could reasonably be attributed to the measurand (probable result distributions). The laboratory shall identify the contributions to measurement uncertainty. When evaluating measurement uncertainty, all contributions that are of significance, shall be taken into account to evaluate the measurement uncertainty. This training applies to Skim Akreditasi Makmal Malaysia (SAMM) Accredited Laboratory within Malaysia. It will assist the laboratory management to make key decisions to further improve the laboratory management system to ensure consistency in laboratory operation on top of complying with Accreditation and SAMM requirements established under Department of Standards Malaysia (the Accreditation Body for Malaysia).
