Anyone wishing to apply to the River City High School AVID program, please fill out this form.
***This form is due by:
8th grade applicants: Monday, January 29, 2024
9th and 10th grade applicants: Wednesday, February 14, 2024
***AVID Interviews will occur on your school campus during the school day. We will arrange a day with your school during the weeks of February 5 - 15.
Interviews will be arranged and we will communicate with the teachers at your school who will let you know.
River City applicants: You will be called to Mrs. Smith's classroom to make an appointment for an interview.
- The application is not complete without the interview.
- Please contact Mrs. Smith at ssmith@wusd.k12.ca.us if you cannot attend or have questions.
- Failure to participate in an interview will mean you will not be placed in AVID next year
