The Barriere Outdoor Club, (BOC), is committed to providing an environment in which all individuals
are treated with respect so that they may participate in our programs, sports, and events in a relaxed and
respectful atmosphere.
A Respectful Code of Conduct has been developed and formally adopted as a part of the Bylaws of the
Barriere Outdoor Club, to clearly communicate the Club's strict requirement that the conduct and
demeanour of all members, participants and others involved in any way always reflects courtesy, good
sportsmanship, and professionalism as well as ethical and moral behaviour.
The purpose of this Respectful Conduct Policy is to ensure a safe and positive environment for all
Barriere Outdoor Club members and participants by making individuals aware that at all times, there is
an expectation of appropriate behavior, consistent with the values of the BOC.
