Local participants can form up starting at 9:30am. Out-of-town participants can arrive as late as 10:30am.

We understand that NOTHING is to be tossed from our entry/float and that CANDY is NOT allowed at all. *
PLEASE NOTE:
The Parade Organizers reserve the right to turn away floats deemed inappropriate to Banff Canada Day. Floats or other entries not registered or floats not decorated will also be turned away at the muster area. Each float will be assigned a staging number and staging map will be provided one week in advance.
Float Design Sketch
Your application is not considered complete until you email a design sketch or rendering to the Canada Day Parade Coordinator at parade@banff.ca.
Certificate of Insurance
Each entry is required to provide a minimum $5 million comprehensive general liability insurance listing the "Town of Banff" and "Her Majesty the Queen in the Right of Canada as represented by Parks Canada Agency" as additional insured parties.

***EQUESTRIAN INSURANCE*** will be required in advance for all individual or commercial equestrian entries.
No Exceptions.

Your application is not considered complete and your entry will not be allowed into the parade until you send your Certificate of Insurance to the Canada Day Parade Coordinator at parade@banff.ca.
WAIVER
In consideration of my acceptance of this Banff Canada Day parade entry, I, for myself and the other members of our group, our heirs, executors, administrators and assigns forever waive, release and discharge all rights, demands, damages and causes of suit of action known including those caused by the negligent act or omission of any of those mentioned or others acting on their behalf, that we may have against the Town of Banff, The Banff Canada Day organizers, Her Majesty the Queen in the right of Canada as represented by the Parks Canada Agency, and any parade sponsor, committee directors, employees and agents of such parties from all injuries in any manner resulting from our participation in the Banff Canada Day parade.

I Certify that:

i) I have full knowledge of the risk involved and have communicated these risks to other members of our organization taking part in this parade;

ii) We are physically fit and have the necessary skill required:

iii) I have full knowledge and understanding of the Town of Banff Parade Policy (provided) and have communicated the information therein to other members taking part in this parade;

iv) we will assume and pay for our own medical and emergency expenses in the event of any accident, illness, and other capacity regardless of whether we have authorized such expense.
I/We have read and accept the Town of Banff parade waiver. *
I/We understand our information will be submitted to the Town of Banff and Banff & Lake Louise Tourism. *
Town of Banff and Banff & Lake Louise Tourism work jointly on the Canada Day parade therefore, information about your entry is shared between both parties.
Media Release *
I hereby permit the use of our image or name to be used for any Banff Canada Day promotions, broadcast, telecast and print media as they pertain to the parade
Media Information *
Provide a couple of descriptive sentences for the MC to announce as you approach the media booth on the parade route.

ARRIVAL INFORMATION
Information on the parade staging location will be confirmed at a later date. It will open at 9:30 a.m. Please be in place no later than 10:30 a.m. The parade starts on Banff Ave at 11:30 a.m. sharp. Marching bands arrive at 10:30 a.m. forming up at 11 a.m.
