The Global AIDS strategy is a new approach to use an inequalities lens to ensure that the gaps that are preventing
progress towards ending AIDS are closed. The Strategy aims to address
the specific factors that have slowed progress and caused the response
to fail the people who are most vulnerable to HIV, especially those who
are experiencing social, economic, racial and/or gender inequality. This
strategy is guided by human rights principles, norms and standards,
commitments to achieve gender equality, and approaches that put communities at the center of the global response.
This webinar will give participants an opportunity to hear how women can use the strategy in communities
to end the HIV epidemic as well as how community-based organizations
plan to use the Strategy within their own communities and department
Join Women4GlobalFund to find out more about the gender assessment tool and how this can support
countries to assess HIV epidemics, contexts and responses through a gender lens to make responses
gender transformative, equitable and rights based.
This webinar will take place on Monday 24th October 2022 at 15h30 (CET)
