Project Goals:
The project aims to challenge the exclusion of young migrants, refugees & asylum seekers from youth centres and youth organisations through a youth ambassadors program, a manifesto for more inclusive youth centres, a research and a publication for youth centres to improve their accessibility to migrant communities - ultimately empowering migrant communities to engage within the social, political, cultural and educational opportunities provided by these spaces.

CGE-Erfurt e.V. is committed to upholding the standards for data protection and privacy set out within EU Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR) throughout its participation within the project. As CGE-Erfurt engages in the project and the implementation of associated activities, we may collect personal data for contact purposes, such as names, titles, positions, professional addresses, phone, email, and other (electronic) contacts of the participant, excluding personal sensitive data. All data collection will be contingent on participants’ consent. This will be ensured through the completion of a signed consent form detailing CGE-Erfurt’s privacy policy which, inter alia, details the GDPR compliant processes that are implemented for the purposes of data collection, storage, and handling, and further will guarantee confidentiality to the participant, as well as inform participants on their rights, under the GDPR framework, to, inter alia, access, request erasure, restrict processing, object to processing, and to transfer the personal data, as well as our processes for participants to realise these rights. Participants will be reminded of the voluntary nature of their participation. Data will be managed by the project team, with a coded numerical identifier at the time of collection in order to be handled and accessible via this identifier. Data will be stored on CGE-Erfurt’s servers, securely held within their offices at Salinenstrasse 34, Erfurt, Thuringia, in accordance with EU regulations. This data will only be stored for the duration of the project. Data will be collected during preparation, implementation, and evaluation phases of outreach activities and research exercises, and data will be collected through secure online forms, as well as a combination of closed- and open-ended questions, in which case transcripts in accessible file formats will be available in CGE-Erfurt’s servers.
