2020 Red Dress Brunch Women's Empowerment Award Nominations

The Atlanta Women's Empowerment Ministry will be recognizing women and girls in the community of the metro Atlanta area who are influential and empowering other women and girls in their respective industries, community, and in the life of the church. These awards will be presented at the Annual Red Dress Brunch  - February 29, 2020.  The deadline to submit nominations is Friday, November  15, 2019.
Nominations are now being accepted for the following Women & Girl Awards.

WOMEN AWARDS:
 
1. " Outstanding Women In Business Award".
The Outstanding Women In Business Award is presented to an individual that has been in business for 10 years or more that exemplify several traits — a strong sense of self, a success-driven work ethic, and the extraordinary accomplishments to show for it.

2. " Women In Ministry  Leadership Award".
 The Women In Ministry Leadership Award is presented to an individual in ministry that puts the needs of others first by mentoring, developing, and helping others perform at an optimum level.

3. "Young , Gifted, & Black Award " The Young, Gifted, and Balck Award honors and celebrate women in business such as ;senior level executives, entrepreneurs, and CEO's below age 40 for their creativity and business development. These women have mastered their industries and are admired by the business community.. The nominee's birthday (including month, day, and year) must also be provided in the nomination.

4. “Anedra S. Williams- Millennial of The Year Award". The ASW Millennial of The Year Award is presented to a dynamic individual who is a  young professional that contributes to the community through public service, make significant strides in business sectors, or serve as cultural ambassadors.  The nominee's birthday (including month, day, and year) must also be provided in the nomination.

5. “Innovator of The Year Award”. The Innovator of The Year Award recognize and celebrate women in business, government, or academia who are leaders in the fields of science, technology, engineering and math.


6.“Raising The Profile Millennial  Award” -Recognizes an individual for acts or contributions that raise the public awareness for women in business, community, or church sector through media outlets ,development programs, and professional platforms.The nominee's birthday (including month, day, and year) must also be provided in the nomination.


7.“Raising The Profile Award” -Recognizes an individual for acts or contributions that raise the public awareness for women in business, community, or church sector through media outlets ,development programs, and professional platforms.



8. “Policy Influencer of The Year Award”- Given to a legislator, policymaker, or advocate who through exceptional measures in public service, have improved outcomes in the target areas of teenage pregnancy, gender-based violence, or  women’s participation in decision-making processes.Contribution also includes the advancement of building positive policy change for women and girls in our state.

9. “Economic Empowerment Award”- Recognizes an individual or a  company’s work to empower individuals through economic and business empowerment initiatives. The economic focus may include financial inclusion, financial literacy, women’s economic empowerment, small and medium-sized business empowerment, diversity and inclusion,  or job skills training.

10. “Unsung Hero in Education Award”
This award recognizes a teacher, principal or educator that puts her heart and soul into everything she does, but often goes unrecognized. This educator works behind the scenes and goes above and beyond the typical requirements of an educator organization/staff member.
