About YWIS
The project of Youth work in schools, YWIS, develops youth work in educational environments. The aim is to define the role and opportunities of youth work in schools.
Another aim is to incorporate informal education opportunities to formal education and to integrate the objectives of youth work and curricula. YWIS further increases the quality of youth work through four themes:
  1. Sustainable Development.
  2. Democracy Education.
  3. Student Wellbeing Work.
  4. Strengthening the Sense of Community.

What is a Good Practice?
According to the United Nations:

"A good practice is not only a practice that is good, but a practice that has been proven to work well and produce good results, and is therefore recommended as a model. It is a successful experience, which has been tested and validated, in the broad sense, which has been repeated and deserves to be shared so that a greater number of people can adopt it." - July 2015
