How many are too many? Too many is 10% of the school year; 18 missed days per year or 2 days per month.

Chronic absences can negatively impact academic and future success for your scholar!

I will give notes of absence to my teacher, who will send notes to the nurse and attendance secretary.

I will make sure that my scholar attends school every day on time or is at least not absent more than 17 days per year.

I will make sure that my scholar is in school/class on time.

I will provide the school with medical or necessary documents upon my scholar’s return to school.

I will provide prior notice of early pick up from school or late arrival to school.
