We are excited to share the first ever Regional Charles River Climate Adaptation and Flood Mitigation Plan (Version 1.0) with you, our watershed residents and partners, for review and comment.

The plan considers regional flooding challenges and possible solutions. (Due to the scope of the study area, the plan does not address site specific local challenges that might be the result of local infrastructure issues or other localized problems.) This is the first documentation of what we hope will be an ongoing flood mitigation planning process. We have already secured funding to create an updated and expanded version in 2023/2024. We have ideas on how to make this a more robust process, but we want to hear your thoughts on this and future plans.

We are looking for public comments on Version 1.0 to help make this and future plans more inclusive, actionable, and useful to community leaders and residents. Please use this form to provide feedback.
