TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR ISSUANCE OF FOREST CITY COMICON MEDIA LICENSE

Images & Video Recordings: Forest City Comicon reserves the right to make use of any photographic image or video recording of the event in promotion of future events. These rights are irrevocable even in the event of termination of this license.

Limited Rights Granted: Once approved, this media license confers upon the license/credential holder a limited, nonexclusive and non-transferable right that allows the holder, or the entity that engaged the holder, to use such photographs, audio, video, or other depiction, expression, or account of events, for news coverage of and about Forest City Comicon events. The license/credential holder and the entity that engaged the license/credential holder, is granted the limited right to record, create and distribute media content of the event.
Panel Presentation Recording: Publication of recordings of panel presentations should be in "excerpt" form (limited to 5 minutes in duration) and are not to be released to the public until 30 days after the convention unless special permission is granted. Such recordings cannot be resold or distributed for profit in any form.
Real-Time Transmission of Panels & Events Prohibited: Real-time transmission of streaming video, digital images, or real-time audio of Forest City Comicon panels and presentations is strictly prohibited. (For example: Internet live streaming of a main stage presentation would be prohibited).
Forest City Comicon Retains All Rights: Forest City Comicon retains right to grant media privileges (including, but not limited to, rights in broadcast, cable, audio, home video, Internet, or such other recordings, tangible expressions, accounts or descriptions, now known or hereafter devised) to all Forest City Comicon events: no organization other than Forest City Comicon is permitted to grant these rights at Forest City Comicon events.
Prohibited Use: The use of any account, description, picture, photograph, video, audio, reproduction, or other information concerning Forest City Comicon events other than for news coverage of the events is prohibited, except with the prior written consent of Forest City Comicon. (In short: using images taken at Forest City Comicon in the promotion of other events and activities is prohibited).
Secondary Use Prohibited: Any secondary use of any picture, audio description, videotape/film taken or made by the license/credential holder or entity that engaged the holder (including, but not limited to, non-editorial, advertising, sales promotion or merchandising) is prohibited.
Credentialing Criteria: All decisions regarding the merit of license/credential requests lie exclusively with Forest City Comicon.
Termination of Rights: The rights and privileges licensed to the holder shall automatically terminate if any term of this media license is breached.
Display of Credential: The credential holder shall display the credential at all times and consents to the reasonable inspection of his or her person and property during an event. The credential holder shall adhere to all event policies, as well as access limits, and direction from Forest City Comicon and its representatives.
Subject to Revision: Forest City Comicon hereby reserves the right, at any time, and for any reason, to modify the terms hereof, grant exception(s) to, waive any term hereof, withdraw permission or amend this license, with notice.
License Not Transferrable: Neither this license nor the rights granted herein may be assigned or otherwise transferred in any manner without the prior written consent of Forest City Comicon.
