2022 WIESoc Industry Mentoring Program: Mentor Application
Thank you for applying to be a Mentor for the Industry Mentoring Program in 2022! Our program is built on passionate industry professionals who are looking to guide undergraduate engineering students as they begin their career. Through the program, mentors will have the chance to be inspirational role models for their mentees and have a direct impact on their personal and professional development. This year's program will be open to all UNSW engineering students, regardless of age, gender and discipline.

As a mentor, attendance at all of our program events is required. The event dates are listed below for reference:
Opening Ceremony: Thursday June 30th 2022
Checkpoint 1: Thursday July 28th 2022
Checkpoint 2: Thursday September 22nd 2022
Closing Ceremony: Thursday October 27th 2022

In addition to the program's events, you will be required to have at least 4 hours of face-to-face or online meetings with your mentee to foster your relationship with them and develop their professional skillset.

Due to the overwhelming expression of interest from mentors, we will unfortunately not be able to take on all applicants this year. Mentors will be selected based on whether a suitable pairing with a mentee can be found. Mentees have been carefully chosen from a large application pool based on their industry interests and motivation for taking part in this program. Application outcomes will be finalised in late June, 2022.
