Chicago Yiddish, a joint effort of Chicago YIVO Society and the Chicago Workers Circle, is excited to offer three winter Yiddish classes online starting in October 2021. These classes will be held online, however the plan is for the continuation of the classes in 2022 to be held in person. Students from outside Chicago may register for these classes, with the caveat that the continuation may no longer be held online next year.

Beginners Yiddish I for complete beginners to Yiddish. NO LONGER ACCEPTING REGISTRATION

Advanced Beginners Yiddish with Annie Kaufman, for those who completed Noah's Beginners III class in the summer or have Annie's permission.

Intermediate Yiddish with Benna Kessler, for students who completed Benna's Advanced Beginners III class in the summer or have Benna's permission.

After you register for the class, you will see a link to pay for your class through PayPal. Full tuition is $180, and reduced tuition is $120 (guideline of $40k or less in income). No one is turned away for an inability to pay, if you need additional support or a payment plan please email us at the address below.
