This class welcomes beginners as well as people with more singing experience. Please describe your previous experience with singing and making music (if any): *

In this class you can sing with backing tracks/karaoke, or sing while playing an instrument. If you'll be accompanying yourself, what instrument(s) do you plan to play?

We will meet Thursdays, July 28th - September 29. There will be no class the week of August 11th. On September 29th we'll have an online recital. If you miss a class, I ask you to watch the video recording later that week. Are there any dates that you know now that you will have to miss?

The class fee is on a sliding scale, and payment is due in two installments: 50% when you register, and 50% on the first day. The true cost of the class is $350. If you choose a rate below that, you are receiving a discount. If you choose a higher rate, you are helping make the class accessible to low income participants. Please select your rate for this class according to an honest assessment of your financial situation: *

Redistributor: $450 (Unlimited spots) - Consider paying at this level if one or more of the following apply: You are comfortably able to meet your basic needs, own a newer car and/or a home or rent a higher end property, have access to financial savings, have reliable work or do not need to work to meet your needs, have investments, can afford to travel every year, have expendable income

Payer Forward: $350 (Unlimited spots) - ***This is the true cost of the class.*** Consider paying at this level if one or more of the following apply: you sometimes stress about meeting basic needs but still regularly achieve them, are able to buy some new items and thrift others, can travel every couple/few years without burden, have some debt but it does not prevent access to basic needs/wants -

Sustainer: $250 (2 of 3 spots available) - Consider paying at this level if one or more of the following apply: You have very limited expendable income, are unemployed or have unstable employment but are still able to meet basic needs, have little or no access to savings or financial support from family, have higher debt that requires some sacrifices on needs/wants

Pay-What-You-Can: $90 - $200 (2 spots - FULL) - Pay-what-you-can spots are available for people for whom paying more would be a significant hardship. Priority is given to folks who identify as Black, Indigenous, and/or People of Color, trans women and trans femmes, folks raised working class or poor, and people with disabilities.
