ESN Ireland - ESNcard Application 2023/2024
The ESNcard is the membership card of the Erasmus Student Network (ESN). It gives you access to all the services offered by ESN and all our partners. The aim of the ESNcard - or ESN membership - is to support international students and trainees and give them access to affordable opportunities during their period abroad.

With the ESNcard, you will enjoy plenty of discounts - housing, sport, food, bars, etc.- all over Europe. You will also have the opportunity to participate in hundreds of events with your ESN section and other sections around your destination country, and even beyond, for the period of your membership.

Application process:
  1. Fill out STEP 1 ESNcard Application Information below
  2. Complete STEP 2 pay the €15 ESNcard fee
  3. Submit Google form
  4. After we have received your payment, you will receive an email from us with a photo of your ESNcard before we post it to you.
  5. Activate your ESN card on esncard.org.
IMPORTANT: You have to activate your ESNcard once you have received it! More info available here.

Please Note: 
  • ALL ESNcard are valid for 12 months (1 year) from the date of acquisition . The acquisition date is written on the ESNcard by ESN Ireland.
  • If you are a full-time/ outgoing Irish student you must contact your host university in your destination country to purchase an ESN card. ESN Ireland cannot sell ESNcards to full-time/ postgraduate/ outgoing Irish students (unless you are in one of our Irish ESN Sections Buddy Systems).
  • This does not apply to ESN Alumni (previous ESN volunteers in one of our ESN Ireland Sections), you can continue to fill out the form below to get the ESNcard.
We are dealing with a massive amount of emails and ESNcard requests at the moment (Around 20 per a day) as volunteers we are trying our best to get through this as fast as possible, but this can take up to 2 weeks.
