Welcome to the new school year! St. Peter School’s Parents’ Club has so many opportunities for you to be involved. We welcome you to read through the information below and find where you can volunteer your time to make our school year amazing!

Roadrunner Fun Run -

Yes! I would like to volunteer for this committee!

Boosterthon Fun Run – a new fundraising event at St. Peter. Volunteers needed to help with setup and making the overall event fun. Volunteers also needed for daily prize distribution the two weeks prior to the event. The kids will run during school hours on Friday, October 25th.

Cafeteria Servers – Volunteers are needed to help serve lunches in the cafeteria between the hours of 10:30 am and 12:30 pm. This can be done as often as you want - weekly, monthly or once in a while. You are welcome to take a break to enjoy lunch with your child.

Community Partners - Many local businesses have committed to partnering with St. Peter School! This committee will help identify those businesses and promote our opportunities to raise money for our school (i.e.: Restaurant nights / Scan Tops or Box Tops for Education).

Parish Coffee & Donuts (after Mass) – Assist with the planning, setup, and serving of this hospitality 2-3x per school year. It will follow a Sunday mass and allow for fellowship of school and parish community. Including the parish breakfast with Santa!

Copy Moms – Help once a week or once a month – these amazing parents and grandparents help teachers by making copies for them. This lets our amazing teachers spend more time with our beautiful children.

Dads' Club – Join this great group of dads! Many volunteer opportunities exist as they assist with various school activities/events. Each Dads’ Club meeting will feature a guest speaker on topics such as faith, fatherhood, and fellowship.

Grotto Beautification Committee – The mission of this committee is to keep Our Lady’s Grotto clean, trimmed, and dignified. Members will come to the school during school hours, once a week, to take care of the aforementioned tasks. Committee members may choose to do this as a group or individually, whatever works best for the members. Also, the committee will be responsible for contacting school families and asking them if they would like to sign up for a week of the school year during which the family would provide a bouquet of flowers for Our Lady’s Grotto (Monday-Friday). Our goal is to have a fresh bouquet of flowers placed in the Grotto on Monday morning of each week.

Parent Prayer Warriors – This is a new intercessory prayer group whose mission is to pray on a weekly basis in front of our Eucharistic Lord either in the St. Peter Adoration Chapel or Church for the intentions of our church, school, faculty, students, and all their families. Any person that signs up for this intercessory prayer group would choose a day of the week and a length of time that he/she could be present at the church or chapel and pray specifically for these intentions. Parents are asked to consider signing up for either 15, 30, or 60 minute prayer shifts.

Hospitality -Volunteers are needed to assist at each of the Parents’ Club general meetings & Back to School Social. They are asked to set up, check in parents, serve food and clean up.

Meeting Attendance -Do you like to meet people?? Then join this committee and help us to check in parents at the Parents’ Club meetings. These volunteers arrive about 15-20 minutes before the meeting to get set up in the back of the room and check in parents. There are only 5 meetings per year.

New Family Outreach -Experienced St. Peter families are needed to welcome, answer questions and assist new families through their first year at St. Peter School.

Party At The Pavilion 2022 - The Party at the Pavilion is our major fundraiser for the spring. The weekend event allows out families to come together and enjoy the sun, play some games, ride some gut-wrenching rides, eat AH-mazing food, watch children perform in their class level or at the Talent Show, and bring our school and church families together!

Spirit Shirts - Each year, a new theme is chosen, and this committee will design, collect orders and distribute the t-shirts throughout the year. This committee’s work is mostly done at the beginning of the year.

Teacher/Staff Appreciation - Show St. Peter teachers & staff appreciation for all they do. This committee performs random acts of kindness for the staff throughout the year including notes with candy left in their boxes, breakfast buffets, prayers during the Lenten season, snacks during the year “just because” and, our staffs’ favorite, amazing luncheons!

Uniform Recycling -Volunteers are needed to sort and organize donated school uniforms. In the early summer, this committee sponsors a Uniform Swap to recycle uniforms that are “oldies but goodies!”

Virtue Based Family Outreach Committee –Volunteers will assist in sending home monthly virtue based activities to certain grade levels, decorate bulletin boards in the cafeteria, and assist with the school wide virtue based activity.

Dance - Volunteer to help set-up, help the night of the event or clean-up! The 2021-2022 School year will be Father/Daughter followed by the Father/Son event in the 2022-2023 school year!

Mother/Son Event - A NEW committee that originally formed for the 2019-2020 school year! Sign up to be a part of this exciting event! 2021-2022 School year will be Mother/Son followed by the Mother/Daughter event for the 2022-2023 school year!
