Voice of the Stakeholder Template
This is a demonstration of the type of survey I created.

I would take a list of the top 10 things our PM was considering building, as well as the commercial targets attached to them, and I'd ask the markets to rank which ones would best help our partners to adopt.

I distributed it across channels - through Slack channels where I managed relationships with each specific market, via email to senior-level stakeholders, and on Workplace.

I'd also go visit the recurring meetings for Sales, Commercial, and Support leadership to provide an update on my product's performance, and use the survey as a Call-To-Action to help their teams have a say in how we shape the future of the product. Because these folks are on the frontlines of customer conversations, their feedback was incredibly representative of what was happening on a local market level.

Once you get your survey results, build a deck around it, complement the results with some market research, opportunity sizing, and show how the voice of your customers (internal/external) will help you smash that commercial target. Broadcast this story out to the local markets to show them how they influenced Product/Central. Rinse, repeat every quarter.

Empathy and helping people feel heard will pay you back time and time again!
