Peer Support Volunteer Application
The Starvibes Campout Peer Support Team partners with onsite medical and security to provide judgment-free, trauma-informed peer support for attendees throughout the event. Starvibes Peer Support volunteers are leaders in fostering a safe party environment by following a community care model both on the dance floor and in the medically-supervised sanctuary space. Training will be provided both ahead of the event and onsite.
People who are selected as a Peer Support volunteer must attend a mandatory onsite Safety Team training on Friday, July 29th and a Festival Harm Reduction training on Saturday, July 30th.
Peer Support volunteers be willing to work up to 16 hours over the course of the event and will receive one complimentary ticket to the event. A deposit of $100 is due upon signing your volunteer contract. Deposit will be refunded 3-5 business days after close of the event for all volunteers who fulfill their agreed upon shifts. Travel, lodging, and other supplies are the responsibility of the volunteers.
We will be requiring all Peer Support volunteers to have received their full COVID vaccination for this event or provide proof of a negative COVID rapid or PCR test within 72 hours prior to the event. This is a requirement of all Starvibes attendees.
