Cinemonica is building out our roster of extras for our independent film projects in Santa Monica, California. Being an extra does not increase or decrease your chances of being cast as a principal actor in a future Cinemonica production.

Extras are paid a flat rate of $15 per hour for every hour they are called on set. If an extra is needed for longer on the day of the shoot than originally indicated, they will have the option to decline. If they accept, they will be compensated at the standard rate of $15 per hour. Payment is made within 30 calendar days of end of production.

• Productions tend to be filmed in Santa Monica and nearby locations.
• Transportation costs are not reimbursed.
• Meals are provided if the extra is on set during a scheduled mealtime for principal actors.
• Extras are credited in project pages on IMDb.
• Extras are not provided reel footage, due to licensing restrictions.
