The Lewis Athletic Booster seek new members of the board and volunteers to form committees that will address the various tasks associated with the booster club. They are....
President - The president functions as the Chair and
presides at all meetings of the Board and at all membership meetings, execute
contracts, or other instruments as authorized by the Board or membership.
The president represents the Boosters at meetings with outside groups or
individuals; prepares agendas for all meetings; and sees that all notices are
given in accordance with the provisions of these bylaws or as required by law.
Vice-President - Serve as executive assistant to the president and carry out those duties assigned by the president
Secretary - Certify and keep the original, or a copy of these bylaws; keep a record of the minutes of all meetings related to Boosters.
Treasurer - Collect and have custody of all the funds of the club; Keep a full and accurate account of receipts and expenditures; Present a financial statement at every meeting of the association and at other times when requested by the Board
Volunteer Committees
1. Fundraising Committee for the purpose of devising and implementing ways and means of raising funds to carry out the goals of the Boosters
2. Membership Committee for the purpose of devising and implementing methods to increase membership in the Boosters. The committee shall promote the attendance of members at meetings
3. Concessions Committee for the purpose of devising and implementing methods of concession stand operations including volunteers, supplies, new products, and cleanup
4. Special Events for the purpose of devising and implementing methods of operations for special events
5. Promotions, Media, and Public Relations Committee for the purpose of devising and implementing methods of operations for publications (or web site) of the organization
