HeartBeat Dance Academy Competition Team 2020-2021 Audition Form
ALL dancers interested in auditioning for our 2020-2021 Competition Team must fill out this audition form.

Once this form has been submitted, dancers will be emailed a list of what needs to be included in their audition video, as well as the links to YouTube videos with the dance combinations. Audition videos must be emailed to Competition Director, Mollie Nash, at HeartBeatMollie@gmail.com no later than Friday, June 26th.

In-Person Audition Opportunity - As our current shelter-in-place situation progresses, there may be an opportunity for in-person auditions if dancers prefer this over video during the weeks of June 15-26. Dancers will assigned specific time slots to ensure safe distancing. HBDA will comply with absolutely every restriction, guideline, and safety protocol if the option becomes available.  As we get closer to these weeks, we will update all families on the status of this option, as well as the complete list of safety protocols we will take if we do so.

Current HeartBeat Dancers ages 7 and under need to fill out this audition form, but do not need to send in an audition video - we will use instructor class evaluations to determine dancer readiness for the team. If your dancer is 7 or under and not a current HBDA student, please email HeartBeatMollie@gmail.com for more information.


If your family is not ready to commit to a competition team given the current circumstances, but are still interested - please continue to fill out this audition form, check the indicated box at the end, and we will email you.


Please note - there will be NO Production routine for the 2020-2021 season.

* This competition routine request form does NOT guarantee that your dancer will be placed in the routines they check off - it is for us to see what the dancers are interested in, and dancers will then be placed in routines based on personal strengths.

* In order to participate in a small group routine, dancers must first accept a large group routine (if offered). Individual appointments will be set up with every dancer family to confirm routines, payment plans, and contract rules.
