For me, wandering is rooting.  
I find great depth in both the wandering of body and mind.  
The unfathomable depths and riches of this world beg to be explored thusly.
There is hope and clarity in each new rising sun.
May each day be a journey toward fulfillment, each step into the unknown an adventure.  
I find great solace in the great mystery of Nature, upon her earth I step, climb, rest.
Each morning renewed by the fire.

From the earth beneath our feet, to the slopes which we must ascend, from all angles the sun still rises.  

Into one end of this piece is woven the I Ching hexagram Chin/Progress (fire, earth). The words of the I Ching bring new perspectives for mediation and an eloquent randomness to the process of working through something, whether it be a life decision or a weaving.  

This piece was woven by me in 2017, and has been living in my archive since that time.  Through the years I have saved a very few pieces that I would like to display together, and though I love this piece I am feeling like it is time to say good by to it and let it find a new home.

This piece was woven by me here at my home-studio in New Mexico on a warp of Organic Cotton-Linen and a weft of raw silk.  

Technicalities - It is 2.6m in length with short hand knotted fringe on each end.
