2024-2025 Interest list for KCM sessions of "Creating Cultures of Schoolwide Mathematical Sense-Making"
This professional learning experience will provide an opportunity to share thoughts, experiences and ideas with other teachers and interested educators while experiencing a school-wide culture of learning. The experience will include the opportunity to observe students as active learners in problem-centered mathematics lessons at various grade levels and discuss the potential of such lessons for deep student learning. Debriefing discussions will focus on how and why different schools might implement effective mathematics lessons structured around rich mathematics problems.

Each session is a unique experience based on the particular teacher and exemplar classroom. Sessions are typically scheduled 4-12 weeks in advance, with sessions in various locations and grade levels offered throughout the year. By completing this form, you will be on a mailing list to receive announcements and updates about upcoming offerings of Creating Cultures, with information about how to register for each upcoming offering.

Filling out this form DOES NOT register you for any individual offering. Be sure to register for EACH offering that you wish to attend.

If you are interested in hosting a Creating Cultures session in your classroom or at your school and you believe your school/district administrators would welcome this opportunity, please give a brief descriptor of your specific situation. For example, if you are teacher, include the grade/classes you teach, what you would like to show or experience as part of this experience, and some information about your school. Please note that the host school must provide an all-day meeting space and have available parking for approximately 30 educators.
