The Credible Web group of the W3C is endeavoring to create a landscape of initiatives designed to fight misinformation. The goal is to aid those behind the initiatives, and anyone interested in evaluating, using or contacting those initiatives.
Part of the underlying idea of this effort is that the initiatives can be discovered. Also an evaluation of those initiatives -- along with the identity of the person doing the evaluating -- will also be clear for full transparency.
