MLK 2-Days of service
Overview- Partnership between Southeast Raleigh YMCA, Southeast Raleigh Promise,  and Southeast Raleigh HS. This two (2) day program will be held on Saturday, January 18 and Monday, January 20.

Purpose- Educate families on structural inequities and keep the work of Dr. King alive through service.

Saturday, January 18 (day 1/2); Children between the ages of 5-13 that have parents attending Groundwater, are invited to learn more about Dr. King, Jr.  and complete interactive projects reflecting their learning. Free book compliments of Raleigh Rolling Readers.  Those aged 14+ are invited to attend a Groundwater presentation and become “grounded” in the roots of structural inequity.                

Monday, January 20, (day 2/2) Groundwater debrief for families who attended Saturday's "Groundwater" presentation and want to get engaged in this work in Southeast Raleigh.
