With the country being under Level 2 for COVID-19 from Wednesday 12th August 2020 until further notice, there are certain guidelines that have been put in place by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Development. This is to ensure Private Viewings of homes for Real Estate purposes are conducted in a safe way for all involved.

As such, we would like to inform you of those guidelines, and we require your acceptance of these conditions prior to attending an Open Home or conducting a Private Viewing of the premise.

The guidelines state that:

• Private viewings and open homes can only occur with the consent of the property’s owner and occupants.

• There can be no private viewings or open homes at any property where a person is, or has been, unwell in the 14 days prior to the proposed viewing date, or where there is somebody self-isolating.

• By completing this form the Purchaser is confirming they are not unwell, are not currently self-isolating, have not been in contact with a confirmed case of Covid-19, and are not classed as “High Risk”.

• Purchasers must pre-register for a viewing and provide their name, address, phone number and email address (as set out below) to the Salesperson before the agreed day/time of the visit. This is in case there is a need for contact tracing by the Ministry of Health.

• Visits will be restricted to the Salesperson and the Purchaser’s (no more than 10 people allowed at the visit including the Salesperson)

• The Purchaser will wait in his/her car until the Salesperson arrives at the property.

• The private viewing or open home will be undertaken in as contactless a way as possible; the Purchaser will be instructed not to touch anything in the property.

• The Salesperson will wear disposable gloves during the visit. The use of a face mask is optional.

• The viewing will be kept as brief as possible.

• Physical distancing will be maintained during the viewing with at least 2 metre separation between the Salesperson and the Purchasers.

• Shoes will be removed prior to entering the dwelling.

• Property owners and occupants if possible will leave the dwelling during the viewing.
