ST.AM.P. is a dynamic team of student leaders dedicated to supporting student success, serving and promoting Cosumnes River College to current and prospective students, guest, and alumni. STAMP offers leadership training and professional development opportunities for its members.

How ST.AM.P. fulfills the program vision and mission:
The heart of what an ambassador does is "Student Engagement" using public relations skills to build community and serve students in two main areas: campus/community services and student support services. Ambassador's responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Campus, Student Engagement, & Outreach
Promote student activities and special events
High School visitations (on and off campus)
Outreach services - assist students with the matriculation process
Serve as role models of student success
Serve on a participatory governance committees
Host campus tours
Student Support Services
Assist with matriculation activities
Provide information to assist students with utilizing campus resources
Professional Development
Develop and expand their knowledge of Cosumnes River College
Maintain work space appearances and professionalism
Possess a willingness to work with groups to accomplish group goals and objectives
Participate in mandatory student ambassador team training
Education
Currently enrolled at CRC and enrolled in at least 6 units
Maintain at least a 2.5 overall/cumulative grade point average
Be in "good" academic standing - (NOTE: cannot be on academic or progress probation)
Have complete at least 12 unit at any Los Rios Community College
Skills, Knowledge, and Ability
Demonstrate initiative
Ability to work independently and in team settings
Experience working with a diverse population
Strong interpersonal, motivational, and communication skills
Knowledge of the campus layout and it's various resources
Ability to speak in front of small and large groups
Computer skills
Wage/Hour
Each applicant MUST be approved to receive Federal Work Study.
This is a job posting for the full 2020-2021 Academic Year.
$13.00 per hour
Hours will be primarily scheduled during the hours of 8:00 am and 5:00 pm on weekdays, but will occasionally include weekends and off campus activities.
Your total hours per week will range from 8 to 26 hours, dependent on your schedule and current activities.
