2019 Summer Institute: Intent to Apply

DIRECTIONS:

Sonoma County districts are invited to include 1-2 school teams in the 2019 Summer Institute. Each school team should include 3-6 teachers from the same school site + a site administrator + a district administrator.

Please ensure the attending district administrator completes the "Intent To Apply" form provided below. The "Intent to Apply" form is due by Wednesday, May 1st 2019.

Additionally, each member of your district's team(s) must individually shadow a student in May 2019 and submit their own application (included on the application page of the website) by Friday, May 17th, 2019. The Summer Institute Application can be accessed at: https://forms.gle/8tTARt1KxyMsjf7R6.

Please note, your team's application will be considered when the attending district administrator has submitted the "Intent To Apply" form AND each member of your team has submitted their individual application.

TEAM COMMITMENTS: Before applying to the 2019 SCOE Summer Institute, district teams should consider their readiness to honor the following commitments: *

Our team includes 3-6 teachers from the same school site + one site administrator + one district leader.

Each member of our team will shadow a student in April, 2019 and individually respond to the reflection prompts below.

Our team will attend a Summer Institute orientation meeting, hosted at our school site in May, 2019.

Our team will attend all Summer Institute sessions on June 11th - 13th, 2019.

Our team will invest in cultivating collaborative relationships with one another during and following participation in the Summer Institute.

Our team will commit to open and constructive communication and shared leadership and decision-making.
