You will receive an email shortly after submitting the below fields confirming your placement and indicating a few tips on how best to enjoy a virtual class as a student. To participate, please ensure you can attend the indicated class times and have access to a reliable internet connection for the duration of your workshop time.

Workshop sessions:

STANDUP FOR DUMMIES with Lauren Walker
When: Tuesday, February 23rd 6:30-8:30pm CST
Standup is whatever you make of it. Anyone can do it! In this two-hour crash-course, students will learn to write jokes for themselves, turn personal stories into fodder, and mine their environments for material. Participants will learn setup-punchline, story structure, and character-building while developing the confidence to perform their own standup set.


****NOTE ON COST FOR THIS WORKSHOP
These are donation based workshops, we believe they should be available to everybody. If you are able to pay for your workshop, we recommend $30 per session, but obviously pay what you are able. All proceeds for all workshops go toward fairly paying workshop teachers.

Information on how to donate will be included upon confirmation into the workshop.
