The following Committees and Work Groups will need members for 2024.  If you are willing to serve, complete the below 2024 Committee / Work Group Involvement Form.  Please select more than one committee or work group, in case your first choice is not available.

MEMBER SERVICES: 
To identify member needs and make recommendations to the Association for consideration on how to address the needs as identified.

DEI – Diversity/Equity/Inclusion:
Diversity, equity, and inclusion are three closely linked values as our Association works to be supportive of different groups of individuals, including people of different races, ethnicities, religions, abilities, genders, and sexual orientation. Throughout the course of your career, you will likely work with buyers, sellers and agents of many different backgrounds. The REALTOR® commitment to DEI is perhaps the strongest in real estate.
Awards
Young Professionals Network (YPN):
YPN hosts networking events for members (regardless of age and industry experience) and helps promote the activities and leadership opportunities offered by the association. Committee members provide recommendations, advice and ideas to be implemented by staff or committee, in addition to coordinating YPN sponsored events.
BUDGET & FINANCE COMMITTEE:
This committee meets at a minimum quarterly and is responsible for overseeing the finances of the Association and for the preparation of the annual budget.
BYLAWS & POLICY COMMITTEE:
This committee meets when Bylaws or Policy needs updating, or changes need to be made. Familiarity with and understanding of Association Bylaws and Policy will be required.

COMMUNITY SERVICE COMMITTEE:
This committee meets regularly to discuss ways to appropriate resources to help REALTORS® to give back to their community.  Community Services workgroups include Awards, Blood Drives, Adopt-a-Family, Bowl-a-Thon, Buddy Walk, Habitat for Humanity, REALTOR® Care Work Days, Ronald McDonald House and Tiny Homes.

     
PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT - Work Groups
This committee meets monthly or as needed and plans the Continuing Education classes and designation classes or any other educational events for members.
REALTOR® PARTY (RPAC) COMMITTEE:
This committee meets monthly or as needed and monitors local issues that influence real estate. The committee plans an annual legislative event for local politicians and conducts the successful collecting of our RPAC goal. The entire committee is encouraged to attend the Georgia REALTORS® Days-at-the-Dome event in Atlanta.
STRATEGIC PLANNING COMMITTEE:
This committee shall meet at least twice annually and determine the goals and objectives of the Association. They shall outline the programming for the Association year and allocate programs to the appropriate committee. The Strategic Planning Committee will maintain a membership of a target of 18 participants with 3 year equally staggered term limits.
Young Council of REALTORS® (YCR) COMMITTEE
YCR committee strives to prepare association members to become better business leaders through education programs, committee activities and in the day-to-day conduct of the real estate business while encouraging preparation and demonstrating the working structure of the association that creates opportunities for contact with other association members.
AFFILIATE COMMITTEE
The Affiliate Committee works to help affiliate members get the most for their membership and sponsorship/Corporate Ally dollars while providing valuable benefits to the REALTOR® members.  Example assignments include actively promoting upcoming events, community outreach and recognition programs with affiliate and REALTOR® contacts, as well as reviewing and providing feedback on advertising and sponsorship offerings.
