The "Armadillo ACE - Always Creating Excellence" Award
Who is eligible: Any registered leader of a Cub Scout Pack, Scouts BSA Troop or Venturing Crew in the Armadillo District in Austin, Texas.  

Purpose of Award: To recognize Scout leaders who have provided exceptional leadership and service to the Armadillo District while being a volunteer dedicated exclusively to the District and/or while being Scout leader with their Pack, Troop, Ship or Crew.  Nominees must exemplify the principles of Scouting (Scout Oath and Law).  Examples of service to the District could include being a member of a District subcommittee on training, membership or FOS; helping lead a Roundtable breakout session; volunteering at Cub Scout Day Camp, Cub-O-Ree, Armadillo District Camporee or some other Council or District event; or for mentoring and developing talented leaders within their unit who provide service to any part of Scouting.

These awards will be presented at the Armadillo District Awards Banquet held in early 2024 (date and location to be announced).

Any nominees who are not selected for the Award will be privately recognized as having been nominated and they will be thanked for their service!
