Site requirements include:

Minimum 50 meters squared of space, with a maximum of 650 meters squared.
Area is non-developable and unused, meaning the land will not be developed in the next 10-20 years.
Access to a water source, specifically for the first 2-5 years after planting.
Area is relatively flat, with no more than a 35 degree slope.
Location is at least 3 meters away from roadways.
Area is clear/able to be cleared of any existing infrastructure. Preference is for areas that are mown grass, grown grasses, or soil.

Land donors must:

Be the owner of the land or be able to gain owners approval for tree planting.
Commit to watering, mulching and weeding selected planting areas for at least the first 2-5 years of growth.
Monitor the site quarterly to ensure tree survival and the eradication of invasive species.
Allow the area to naturalize, i.e. no mowing between trees.
