Valparaiso Creative Council has a quarterly goal to gift art educational opportunities to highest needs in our community. In partnership with DIY Art Studio, founder of "Create Outside the Box", we are able to do just that. The intentional creation of these seasonal art boxes incorporates 2-3 art lessons with all materials included for learners of any age, even adults! All kits include access to online tutorials, materials, and you may also request an in-service opportunity. Development of each DIY kit is handcrafted by a certified art teacher in Valparaiso and each kit may also include other featured local artists to instruct/provide artful opportunities each season.

With support from grants, sponsors, and fundraisers, we are able to gift DIY Kits to organizations, businesses, programs, or individuals in need. We are seeking recipients who could benefit from immersion of the Arts as a helpful tool for therapy, self expression, increased confidence, exploratory lessons, as well as the countless positive outcomes Art can have on learners.

We require an application process to assess the needs in Valparaiso and surrounding areas. Applying does not automatically mean you will be selected to receive this #ARTreach, however, your application will stay on file to ensure your best chance of being selected. The amount of outreach we are able to distribute depends entirely on available funding each quarter.

If you are selected, you will receive notification with information about the #ARTreach process. Please be sure to include your correct email and contact info below as the best way to reach you. It is possible you might not be chosen this season, but may be selected the next round.
