MSAD 54 is working to ensure the 2021-22 school year is amazing for all students.  Which of the following efforts do you feel are the most important areas for the district to focus on this year.
How important is it that your child's teacher does the following:

Masking:  The district has decided to follow the federal guidance and require masking indoors, in schools, for everyone including those who have already vaccinated.  The district is committed to reviewing the requirement to mask based on 1) vaccines becoming available to children under the age of 12, and 2) improvement in our county data:  Vaccination Rate, Positivity Rate, Community Transmission Rate, etc..  Should item 1 and 2 occur, or should CDC Guidance around masking in schools change, would you support MSAD 54 not requiring masks and moving to the following statement "MSAD 54 Strongly Recommends that everyone vaccinated or unvaccinated wear a mask in school"?

In addition to your thoughts expressed above, where should MSAD 54 focus federal funding in our schools?  Note: A public forum is set for 8/12/2021 at 6:00 at the Skowhegan Area Middle School to discuss the ARP & ESSER federal funds and several projects associated with the August 31st referendum.
