Small Business Person of the Year Award Nomination Form
The Small Business Person of the Year Award recognizes an individual dedicated to the support of the small business community in Jefferson County.

Judging Criteria: A panel of judges will independently score each of the nominations based on the following:

  • Staying Power 
  • Growth in number of employees 
  • Increase in sales and/or unit volume 
  • Current and past financial performance Innovativeness of product or services offered 
  • Response to adversity 
  • Contributions to community oriented projects

The Madison Area Chamber of Commerce will assist the award winner with nomination to the Small Business Administration for the national award.
