Lupin Co-op Membership Breakdown
Community Land Trust and Wellness Center: Lupin Co-op is creating a community focused on art, healing, and the environment. Lupin Co-op will offer Ecstatic dance nights, weekend long festivals, yoga, and weekly meditation classes to generate income.We will purchase Lupin Lodge and turn it into a Community Land Trust (CLT) where residents can own their homes (cabins) on a long lease (99 years). The community will be affordable and supportive of body positivity and personal freedom. We will plan to have a lodge for activities like dance, music, and yoga, and will build a wellness center.
What we need: We are are looking for an expression of interest in helping us acquire the property, improve the infrastructure, including sewage and electrical systems, and to maintain the environment through trail upkeep, a community garden, and fire prevention efforts.
Equity-Based Pricing: Lupin Co-op offers income-based housing and membership to support the low income community as well as women, minorities, LGBTQ+ folks, seniors, and disabled residents. We will rely on volunteers and grants to keep costs low (volunteer today to help!).
Start-up Donation: Your start up donation makes you a member for life! Oftentimes in these land trust models members have an ability to vote on a board of directors. You have a say in the Lupin Co-op!

We're introducing a tiered membership program that aligns contributions with access to exclusive benefits. Your membership level will be determined by your prior year's income, ensuring equitable participation.

Circle of Hope: The Circle of Hope is our philanthropy group which will be curtail in getting our project off the ground. While they may not be able to vote on the board due to the rules of non-profits, we want their input on how to shape a Lupin which is best for their interests and/or companies interests. Those within the Circle of Hope will get lifetime membership and without monthly credits. Lupin Forever! We need $15 million to renovate after buying the land. Be the first at the table with this letter of interest.
Daytrippers: Want to support Lupin without drinking the cool-aid? Our "daytrippers" club is perfectly designed for the members who are already a part of Lupin Lodge. Paying a small fee for an annual membership gives you access to the park with a $60 drop in. Just say you care and submit your interest today!
Angel Member: We will create a special "shrine" meditation room with spiritual wellness features for our highest-tier members (Angel members). We need 66 new Angel members to reach our goal for acquisition. Please submit your Letter of Interest by September 2024. This group can vote on the board as a part of membership.
Members: Members may have their own board and vote on actionable items in the community. You really belong and you really have a say! We need 100 members by Feb 2025 to meet our acquisition goals. Please return your response by October 2024.
