Spring 2022: Local Membership Form

1.  Please find below the link and directions for registering to become a National AMWA member, once you have completed these steps, please be sure to fill out the following membership form to register with our local chapter:

o Link for National AMWA membership registration: https://www.amwa-doc.org/membership-registration/
o Directions:
a. Select option “Pre-medical student”
b. Select option “Pre-medical Student (One-time membership for all pre-medical years) $55.00” or "Pre-Medical Student (annual membership) - $20.00"
c. Completed required fields
d. Take a screenshot of membership confirmation and email to Treasurer Kiran Singh (signhk95@lsus.edu)

2. The local membership dues are $5 per semester, and are to be paid before the third meeting (deadline: 03/11/22).

3. Associate Members are to attend 3 of the 5 total meetings per semester, as well as complete 5 hours of volunteer work or community service per semester. These hours can be completed during our many volunteer opportunities and awareness events on campus, as well as from outside activities such as volunteering at local marathons/fundraisers etc.,

4. National Members are to attend 4 of the 5 total meetings per semester, as well as complete 10 hours of volunteer work or community service per semester. These hours can be completed during our many volunteer opportunities and awareness events on campus, as well as from outside activities such as volunteering at local marathons/fundraisers etc.,

5. We aim to make things as stress-free as possible for our members, so please feel free to let us know if you run into any issues in completing the above tasks. Communication is key!
