Inclusive Student Life Checklist

Trinity College Dublin has a vibrant student life, including clubs, societies, student union and publications. Disabled students are often excluded from these organisations. The aim of this checklist is to support student organisations to become more accessible and inclusive to disabled students.

This checklist will take you through different areas of running a club, society, student union or publication. At the end of the checklist, you will receive tips and a score ranging from 1 to 30, which will place you into one of the following categories:

First category = 16-20. This student organisation demonstrates clear efforts to be inclusive to students with disabilities. (This category will receive a digital badge)

Second category = 5-15 This student organisation has made some effort to be inclusive to disabled students but there is still a lot of room for improvement.

Third category = 0-5. This student organisation has a lot of things to improve on to make them inclusive for students with disabilities. However, it is easy to improve this score by implementing tips from the Trinity Inclusive Student Life Guidelines.
