Alaska Entrepreneurship Week is a week-long event made up of 100+ events throughout the week, filled with rich conversations of economic development, startups & business launching, and investing.

➡️ Who we hope to meet

Anybody can volunteer for Alaska Entrepreneurship Week!

All we ask is you:

・work well with a team of passionate people

・take initiative in communications including emails, DMs, and phone calls

・are willing to learn if you're unsure you fit!

But honestly... if you're interested in business in ANY capacity, then we absolutely want to hear from you.

If you're new to the area, interested in how the back-end of events happen, and want to learn some real skills to talk about in interviews — then we also want to hear from you!

➡️ What you'll be doing

How much you decide to commit to is 100% your choice.

We would love for you to take on not too much, so that you can perform every task willingly and happily!

Some ideas of tasks we need help with include:

• Fundraising (emails & phone calls — scripts provided)
• Social Media Marketing (creating post graphics, writing posts)
  
• Graphic Design (formatting, changing logo colors, etc.)
• Photography (cell phone photographers welcomed!)
• Zoom Support (letting people into events, muting participants, etc.)
• Flyering (stickers and posters)
• Administrative Communications (basic project management)

➡️ What you'll get

Besides the relationships and close experience with local movers and shakers, all Entrepreneurship Week volunteers get free entry to every Entrepreneurship Week event and your choice of your very own merch — as we'll be creating them together! ✌️

Anybody on the organizing committee would also be more than happy to act as a resume reference or letter of recommendation for students.
