Homeless hotel program intake form
This form will help us connect you with the resources to help end your homelessness or a warm bed for a second chance. We realize we won't be able to help everyone BUT we will try to connect you to somewhere that can!

Getting documented homeless is the most IMPORTANT thing you can do while you experience homelessness it will help you qualify for housing grants and get you out of homelessness the quickest. 

Program Requirements:
* Homeless ID ( obtained at holy cross services 430 north larch st Lansing mi )
* The hotel program is for cleints that can not get into shelters 
* We still require you to work through the system while you stay at the hotel
* Hotel funding is day by day and you must complete the tasks for that day to get funding for the next. IE: sign up for housing, job search, obtain needed homeless documentation. 

Quick rules:
- please NO phone calls to our participating hotels 
- do not show up to partnering hotels asking for rooms 
- intakes and hotel set ups are all done online  and can only be approved by cardboard prophets
- we can only help in the greater Lansing michigan area at this time.

( Getting shelter denial letters under the " fair housing act " can act as homeless documentation to grant access to system programs outside of the system )

( This can also help you get homeless prevention funding )
Are you willing to share your story with the community?
The community will be funding  your room and in most cases will help you fill your home with items by telling your story and sharing your needs list. The Lansing community is the most amazing in the state!
