Please join us as we create Iowa's first Mini-Forest in May 2024 at Brookview Park, 400 81st St, West Des Moines, Iowa. These forests:

Grow fast and are more biodiverse than those usually planted by conventional methods.
Store significant amounts of carbon in a small area, helping meet climate goals.
Help reduce water runoff and improve air quality.
Serve as shady green oases that provide wildlife habitat for diverse species, especially birds and insects.
Provide a site for environmental and science education.
