This worktrade application is for campers who are ONLY interested in a lifeguarding worktrade AND do not want us to consider their financial situation. You must register for camp before we can consider your application.

For Vermont you must have American Red Cross lifeguard certification. For Oregon, we may be able to consider other types of certification. If you're not certified yet but are working on it -- or have plans to complete it before camp -- or if your certification has lapsed -- you can still apply. (But we may prioritize people who are already certified.)

If you 1) are also open to other types of work, and/or 2) want us to consider your financial situation as part of your application, please fill out our general worktrade application instead.  

Before filling out this application, please carefully read our worktrade page (https://www.nbtsc.org/worktrades/). Worktrade applications are due April 10 (but most years, March 31). Occasionally, though, after this point we are still seeking lifeguards. We won't be annoyed if you ask!  

Notes on the format: this form will not allow you to save your work part-way through, so you may want to start when you'll have time to finish.  (Or just copy any carefully-thought-out responses to a temporary document so it's easy to re-enter them later.) If you submit an application but then want a do-over, no problem  - just submit a new application anytime up until midnight on April 10th. If we receive multiple submissions from the same camper we'll use the most recent one (unless you tell us otherwise).
