Junior Membership of Grange Application Form
To become a Junior member one must have a parent/guardian or grandparent that is a member of Grange. 
If you don’t meet this criteria you will need to complete a separate application form for a minimum of House membership for your Parent / Guardian.

To fill out this form you will need the contact details for your Proposer and Seconders including their email address and Golf Ireland numbers. This number can be found on the Golf Ireland card and app.

Note: It is your responsibility to ensure that your Proposer & Seconders fill out their respective forms. If they fail to do so your application will not be considered for membership.

I hereby consent to the above child participating in golf activities of Grange Golf Club in line with Golf’s Safeguarding Policy. I am able to give parental consent for my child to participate in and travel to all activities.
I am happy for me, and my child, to receive appropriate text and email communication.
I understand that photographs/video will be taken during or at golf related events and may be used in the promotion of golf, including on social media.
I acknowledge that the Club is not responsible for providing adult supervision for my child except for formal Club coaching.
I understand that the Club does not provide adult supervision for my child on the course, in practice areas or in the Clubhouse (including the Junior room, bar, restaurant and locker/changing rooms).
In the event of illness, I give permission for medical treatment, where considered necessary, to be administered by a nominated first aider or a suitably qualified medical practitioner (QMP). If I cannot be contacted in the case of emergency, and my child should require emergency hospital treatment, I authorise a QMP to provide emergency treatment or medication.
Junior members must endeavour to participate in at least 7 competitions/events and their parent/guardian/ sponsor must be prepared to help in 2 events on a rota basis. This will be monitored by the Junior Committee and failure to participate in the Junior programme may result in membership not being offered for renewal.
A “credit” is earned when you play in any Junior competition throughout the year, casual golf with a time booked on BRS for the main course/academy, coaching, attend welcome evening, inter club match, rules night or other such formal event organised by the Junior committee. Over a 3-year period starting from January 1st 2022, each Junior (with & without an official handicap) will be required to accumulate 30 credits over that 3 year period. This policy will roll over for each 3-year period e.g. each Junior Member must have 30 credits in the preceding 3 years. The aim is to encourage participation. This will be monitored throughout the year. Those Junior members who have not accumulated 30 credits without reasonable excuse in 3- year period may not be re-elected for the following year.
